Business Unit Overview
Our Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business. Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale.
The Delivery team is responsible for supporting sales through to billing. This includes the management of the sales processes and operational support which enables efficient and effective sales; delivery of customer services across the entire product portfolio; network provisioning and configuration management; and executive, strategic support for the two revenue streams. Our focus is, and will always be, on the customer throughout this process to ensure Superloop remains the telecommunications provider of choice now and into the future
Role Purpose
The Project Manager plays the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects for Superloop Business customers. They are accountable for the project scope, the project team resources, and the success or failure of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;
- Responsible for resource planning, availability and allocation according to projects pipeline & backlog;
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope;
- Translate provided scope and requirements into tasks, schedule and assign tasks;
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;
- Communicate to management any changes to the project scope, project schedule, or project costs;
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;
- Track and analyse projects’ performance, and report any possible risks or issues;
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors;
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
- Deliver solutions to the Operations team by coordinating managed services onboarding activities; and
- Complete any other duties as directed
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-7 years experience in project management and applying project methodology;
- Experience in implementing PMO standards and procedures;
- Proven working experience in project management in the information technology and
telecommunications sectors;
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in networking and
systems technologies;
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiating skills;
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in the fields of IT or engineering;
- PMP / PRINCE II certification (highly advantageous);
- Change management experience in PMO is considered (highly advantageous)
