Full description

Xebia is a global AI-first, digital transformation, and engineering partner. With over 25 years of experience and a team of 5,000 professionals across 16 countries, we help organizations design and build scalable products, platforms, and data-driven solutions.

We specialize in Artificial Intelligence, Data and Cloud, Intelligent Automation, and Digital Products, combining deep technical expertise with a strong focus on engineering excellence and a people-first culture.

In the CEE region, we’re a team of nearly 1,000 experts delivering modern applications, data platforms, and AI solutions for clients such as McLaren, Aviva, Deloitte, Spotify, Disney, ING, UPS, Tesco, Truecaller, AllSaints, Volotea, Schmitz Cargobull, Allegro, InPost, and many, many more. We work with leading technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, and Snowflake, and combine strong engineering culture with a consulting mindset and a continuous focus on growth and knowledge sharing.

About Project:

The project aims to modernize and simplify client's (SEPA Direct Debit Alignment) workflow by removing unnecessary legacy intermediaries and redesigning the integration between Salesforce, banking systems, and customer data services. The solution centralizes customer data in an Azure-based Client Data Domain and uses microservices running on AKS to manage integrations with banking and payment partners. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable with practical DevOps work on an already operating platform: someone who can take over existing configuration, organize deployments, adjust service settings, and support the team in delivering the integration quickly. This role is suitable for a person who knows Kubernetes and Azure from the perspective of day-to-day application deployment and maintenance, and does not necessarily need to be the architect of the entire infrastructure.

You will be:

• managing the configuration of applications running on an existing Kubernetes cluster,

• working with Docker and Helm charts,

• configuring and deploying microservices in a Kubernetes environment,

• set service parameters, replica counts, communication methods, and dependencies between components,

• operating and maintaining deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps,

• collaborating with development and architecture teams on the integration of banking systems, Salesforce, and legacy systems,

• maintaining configuration as code using Terraform or a similar approach,

• supporting ongoing deployments and environment stabilization until the end of the project.

Your profile:

  • hands-on experience with Kubernetes at the application management and configuration level, not necessarily building clusters from scratch,
  • experience with Helm and Docker,
  • knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines,
  • experience with Azure services, particularly Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, and Azure Container Registry,
  • ability to work with infrastructure/application configuration as code, e.g. Terraform,
  • understanding of deploying and maintaining microservices in a cloud environment,
  • independence in analyzing configurations, diagnosing issues, and proposing practical solutions,
  • communicative English skills enabling project collaboration.
  • Person can be from Italy or EU given at least B2+ Italian Language.
  • Italian is a must have

• practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.

• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.

  • Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
