Role Summary

As a Business Analyst within our Granular Regulatory Reporting team, you'll play a key role in helping ING meet its regulatory obligations while improving data quality and reporting processes.

You'll work across business and technology teams to analyze regulatory requirements, translate them into actionable solutions, and support the successful delivery of reporting capabilities for AnaCredit, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate, and Statistics on Holdings of Securities reporting.

About the Team

You'll join the Granular Reporting Tribe within COO Finance, a team responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting high-quality regulatory reporting solutions. Our mission is to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant reporting while continuously improving processes, data quality, and reporting capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and business changes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Policy, and Technology teams.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with developers to deliver effective reporting solutions.
  • Perform data analysis using SQL and investigate data quality issues.
  • Contribute to data remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Execute functional acceptance testing and validate implemented solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Provide second-line support for regulatory reporting processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting such as COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, Commercial Real Estate reporting, or similar frameworks.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and investigation.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in functional testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solution-focused mindset.
