The Role
BinSentry is seeking a Product Designer to create intuitive and effective user experiences for our products. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and customers to turn complex workflows into clear, engaging designs. You’ll have access to AI tools and will be expected to use them to prototype faster, explore more ideas, and get working concepts in front of customers sooner. The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design, curious about how AI is changing the craft, and able to contribute to product strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design, from discovery and research to polished UI.
- Rapidly prototype and validate ideas, gathering feedback from customers and internal teams.
- Translate requirements into workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system for consistency across platforms.
- Advocate for the user and ensure customer experience drives product decisions.
- Help shape how the product team uses AI in its design workflow.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5+ years of experience in Product Design.
- Proficiency with Figma (or similar) for design and prototyping.
- Strong UX research skills and ability to translate insights into solutions.
- Experience using AI tools in your design process, or a strong appetite to learn.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
- Able to work onsite in Kitchener, ON.
Preferred
- Experience designing for SaaS, IoT, or data-heavy tools.
- Experience in Agriculture/AgTech.
- Familiarity with feed mills, livestock production, or agricultural supply chains.
