The ISD Principal Consulting Project Management (CPM) is responsible for driving delivery excellence across a portfolio of consulting engagements in the Area, ensuring consistent governance, predictable financial outcomes, high customer satisfaction.

The CPM also acts as a delivery manager customer accounts, directly accountable on the project/program execution, escalations, stakeholder management and financial Profit and loss of the program, leading the project team members, and collaborating with cross-functional units to deliver impactful outcomes to our customers.

Responsibilities 1) Full accountability for engagement financials and profitability across Project and Billed Revenue (Invoicing), Cost, and to Sold Margin 2) Focus on accurate forecasting (95% accuracy) and attainment of Project Revenue, Billed Revenue (98% accuracy) and managing Commercial Cloud Contract Value (CCCV) decrements 3) Timely action for Risk Reserve (RR) release, project closures, labor, expense and invoice approvals 4) Ensure time for yourself to invest in readiness with a focus on complex delivery, cloud solutions and digital usage, whilst developing your career interests 5) Deliver on the contractual commitments balancing customer outcomes and relationships, with commercial, financial and consumption commitments with specific emphasis on Returns of Investment (ROI) accountability and Net new consumption growth. 6) Engages with senior internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Chief Executive-level executives) as a peer with subject matter expertise. Prevents and manages escalated situations through strategic and targeted communications with senior stakeholders and delivers difficult messages as needed. Establishes governance to influence customer decision making and diffuses situations in escalations as needed. 7) Drives customer satisfaction by representing Microsoft to senior customer stakeholders (e.g., Chief Executive-level), reviewing and analyzing customer feedback, and leveraging trusted relationships with senior internal resources to act as the voice of the customer and ensure resolution of challenged deliveries. Manages expectations with a high level of political sensitivity by anticipating customer reactions, interpreting small signals, and taking proactive steps accordingly. 8) Consistent adherence to complex delivery methodologies, IP reuse and harvest, exec status reporting standards, delivery agent usage to improve productivity, consistency, predictability, and quality. 9) Adheres to Project compliance standards (e.g., confidentiality, privacy) and requirements of the contract and accommodates customer compliance standards, including managing compliance-related complexities (e.g., high sensitivity to confidentiality). Champions compliance by contributing to knowledge sharing across teams to build compliance capability of others.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 12+ years experience in consulting/professional services delivery, project management, or leading portfolio management, complex programs, or revenue-driven programs more than USD $5mil , strong pre-sales and proposal delivery experience OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • 6+ years consulting, professional services, or related financial management experience (e.g., cost management, revenue forecasting)
  • Agile certification, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification
  • Certification in relevant industry or in FSI or Telco or Public sector
