The Impact You'll Drive:
Product Life Cycle
- Execute on product initiatives that support all stages of the product life cycle, under the guidance of a Product Manager.
- Support alignment of demand and sales forecasts for assigned products.
- Collaborate with Engineering Service to help facilitate New Item Requests (NIR) and Change Order (CCO) implementation.
- Assist in the upkeep of our Product Information Management (PIM)
P&L Support
- Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity for margin improvement.
- Support pricing recommendations for product-specific projects.
- Monthly report out on product categories across organization.
Product Strategy
- Support market and competitive research and analysis for assigned categories.
- Participate in Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) activities to inform product decisions.
- Support and execute new product launches in partnership with the broader product management team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support shared objectives.
- Assist in ongoing process improvements to our Standard Operating Procedures.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
- Show enthusiasm for contributing to group projects and helping the team achieve shared goals.
What Sets You Up for Success:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or applicable experience; degree or experience in Product Management or Product Development, Project Management, Data Analyst, Merchandising, or Business.
- 0-2 years of experience; internship experience related to product management or product development preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data to identify opportunities and support recommendations.
- Detail-oriented, with strong documentation accuracy, sound data analysis, and consistent adherence to process and timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, ERP, CRM systems).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Understanding of financial principles and their application to product decisions.
- Knowledge of fenestration / building industry a plus.
