Full description

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Take full ownership of specific tasks or features within the system upgrade project
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting rigorous unit testing to ensure all deliverables meet H Mart's project standards
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards
  • Collaborate with the core engineering team to design and implement new features that directly simplify store-level operations
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines with minimal supervision, ensuring seamless data flow between stores and headquarters
  • Implement data transformations, cleaning, and aggregation; optimize workflows for maximum performance and scalability as the system grows
  • Perform consistent data validation to ensure the integrity and quality of inventory and sales data
  • Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to translate business data requirements into technical pipeline structures
  • Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implementing continuous minor improvements to the integration and deployment processes for faster release cycles
  • Maintain and manage all development environments, performing initial incident handling and troubleshooting to ensure developer productivity
  • Work closely with both Development and Operations teams to implement industry best practices and participate in high-impact, cross-functional projects

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Full-Stack Development or a combination of Data Engineering/Analysis and software development
  • Hands-on experience with the JAVE Spring framework
  • Proven experience in Python data processing and ETL pipeline development
  • Strong background in RDBMS query development and performance optimization
  • Experience building and deploying applications using Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
  • Advanced proficiency in JAVA, JAVA Script, and React
  • Expert-level knowledge of Python and SQL for complex data handling
  • Strong understanding of Server-Client Communication protocols and modern web architecture
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Bilingual in Korean and English preferred
