You will interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions using insight gained to complete business scope documents and define user personas for individual products.
As a Sr. Product Analyst in LRCO, you will analyze and reengineer the organization's products to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance in business processes. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, operations department heads, and cross-functional product and operational teams, to identify areas for operational improvement and develop strategies to streamline operations.
You will attend and actively participate in scrum meetings and remain engaged in scrum development and will partner with scrum teams and stakeholder to define and present strategy for features, write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
You will interact with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions using insight gained to complete business scope documents and define user personas for individual products. The Analyst will also serve as an escalation point for clients.
Job responsibilities:
- Supports team and demonstrates foundational product and customer knowledge of area product feature and ability to help the team drive allocation of highest value requirements for delivery
- Ensures business and user needs are articulated as clearly as possible.
- Assists in the creation of detailed user stories for the agile development lifecycle.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in the features they support
- Works closely with PO/APO to understand project scope and priorities
- Partners with team members to document and groom product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an agile development environment
- Identifies and resolves missing requirements
- Coordinates with scrum team and technical leads to prioritize scope, objectives, and constraints for development sprints
- Works ahead of the team to have stories “groomed” and ready for discussion before the next iteration or review and liaises with development team, application teams and business stakeholders
- Participates in Scrum Agile events and other agile activities and comfortable with Agile backlog management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Assists the team as needed to complete stories and with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions and in QA and development of tests and ongoing testing activities, clarifying acceptance criteria and use cases as needed to meet team goals
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a banking operations environment with a proven track record of continuous Improvement, system upgrades/enhancements, proactive problem solving or lean business process; utilizing evidence based analysis and conclusions
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Outstanding communication, listening, presentation and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate thru visual models (i.e. PowerPoint, Visio, Confluence etc.)
- Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
- Experience working with globally distributed scrum teams
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA, Git, etc.)
- Solid understanding of both Scrum and Waterfall execution strategies
- Ability to manage backlog

- Agile/Scrum certifications a plus
- Critical thinker with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail with the ability to seamlessly manage continuously shifting business priorities
- Willing to challenge the status quo, and leverage change to enhance customer satisfaction
- Positive attitude with strong relationship building and collaboration skills
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Knowledge of business processes, workflows, and operations to apply a structured systems analysis approach to the design and development of new or enhanced applications
