Job Description

Capgemini is seeking a director level executive (E1) to lead Japan Market for Account

Roles & Responsibilities:

This person will hold the responsibilities mentioned:

Client & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders. Understand business objectives, contractual commitments, and delivery expectations. Conduct governance meetings, service reviews, steering committees, and executive reviews. Drive customer satisfaction and continuous service improvement. Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.

Delivery Leadership

Lead end-to-end delivery of programs, projects, or managed services engagements. Ensure delivery against agreed scope, schedule, quality, and budget. Oversee planning, estimation, execution, and transition activities. Monitor KPIs, SLAs, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria. Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

Financial Management

Own engagement P&L and financial health. Manage revenue, contribution margin, forecasts, invoicing, collections, and cost optimization. Review actuals versus forecast and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Ensure compliance with Capgemini delivery processes, security requirements, and quality standards. Drive audit readiness, business continuity planning, and regulatory compliance activities.

People Leadership

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams. Drive workforce planning, resource allocation, onboarding, and performance enablement. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, diversity, and continuous learning. Build succession plans and develop future leaders.

Operational Excellence

Drive knowledge management, metrics management, and process optimization. Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies, tools, and best practices. Support transformation, automation, and AI-led improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candiate

The ideal candidate is passionate about operational excellence, automation, and customer-centric innovation, with a strong background in managing large-scale, digital-first contact center environments.

20- 22 + years of IT services, consulting, or managed services experience. Minimum 10+ years in delivery, program, project, service delivery, or engagement management roles

Experience managing large-scale global delivery engagements for typical legacy modernization, cloud migrations or green field implementations.

Insurance Domain with Open-Source Systems Experience is must (Java/ React); Understanding of Agentic AI Is added advantage. Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models. Proven experience in client-facing leadership roles.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
