WHAT YOU’LL DO

Drive Equipment Reliability

  • Reduce unplanned downtime through preventative strategies and defect elimination.
  • Improve asset performance using reliability metrics, equipment history, and root cause analysis.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen equipment availability and operational effectiveness.

Build a Proactive Maintenance Culture

  • Advance preventive, predictive, and TPM programs across the plant.
  • Partner with Operations to improve equipment ownership and early issue detection.
  • Shift maintenance execution from reactive work toward planned, sustainable practices.

Lead Planning & Execution

  • Establish effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and work management processes.
  • Prioritize maintenance resources to support production needs and plant performance.
  • Improve schedule attainment while reducing emergency maintenance activity.

Guide Engineering & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and technical improvements.
  • Solve recurring equipment issues through engineering solutions and data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure assets are reliable, maintainable, and fit for future growth.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of technical education and significant industrial maintenance experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive maintenance, engineering, or reliability experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven success improving equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, automation, controls, and plant utility systems.
  • Experience with CMMS, asset management, maintenance planning, and reliability programs.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing technical teams.
  • Bonus: Experience in food, dairy, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments, along with relevant industry designations such as P.Eng., CET, Red Seal, or CMRP.
