About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Build new or maintain/enhance existing DevOps pipelines.
  • Drive innovation in digital technology & Innovation application portfolios, increase efficiency through automation on enhancing end user experience.
  • Drive automation of manual repetitive operational tasks and Engineer solutions to automate production game plans.
  • Provide Pipeline & Onboarding support for DevOps pipelines
  • Perform bug fixes/enhancements in the scripts used for operational tasks
  • Working experience CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
  • Fair Knowledge DevSecOps controls (SonarQube, Checkmarx, Qualys) across SDLC.
  • Design and operate container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift Container Platform).
  • Ensure high availability, observability, and SLA compliance using Splunk, ELK, Grafana.
  • Lead RCA, production incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Any scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
  • Fair Knowledge on infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible (optional).
  • Knowledge on Jira, ServiceNow application – Change Request, Incidents (optional)
  • Cloud skills (certification preferable)
  • DevOps skills
  • Experience with Tableau/ MicroStrategy or similar BI tools
