We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team at Fossil Group in Bengaluru, Karnataka. If you are passionate about data-driven decision-making and enjoy leading analytics initiatives and teams, this could be the perfect role for you. What you will do in this role

  • Design and develop interactive and visually compelling dashboards using Tableau and Looker to deliver actionable business insights
  • Integrate and manage data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across reporting systems
  • Optimize dashboard performance by improving load times, responsiveness, and handling large datasets efficiently
  • Develop and execute SQL queries and leverage Python or similar tools for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of reporting data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, driving best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Who You Are

  • 8–12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Visualization & AI roles
  • Strong expertise in Tableau (Desktop and Server) including advanced reporting, data blending, and calculations
  • Hands-on experience with Google Looker Studio and modern data visualization tools with AI.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts for ad-hoc analysis and business reporting
  • Good understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and GCP applications
  • Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for data analysis is an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with complex datasets
  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring teams and collaborating across functions
