About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager (Civil Construction) to lead the successful delivery of large-scale and complex civil construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from preconstruction through closeout while driving performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and overall project execution.
The Senior Project Manager serves as a senior leader within RNGD’s civil operations, providing direction to project teams and maintaining accountability for project outcomes. This role works closely with field leadership, clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal partners to ensure civil work is planned effectively, properly resourced, and executed in alignment with project requirements and business objectives.
This role is ideal for an experienced civil construction professional who understands the demands of field-driven project delivery, can anticipate and manage project risk, and has a proven ability to lead teams through complex scopes while building strong client and partner relationships.
Core Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Provide direction and oversight to project team.
- Ensure alignment between field and office teams to drive efficient execution.
- Maintain accountability for overall project performance and outcomes.
- Client and Partner Relationships

- Foster and maintain long-term relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure client satisfaction through consistent communication, responsiveness, and high-quality project delivery.
- Represent RNGD with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
- Preconstruction and Planning
•
- Collaborate with the preconstruction team to align project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work.
- Participate in constructability reviews and provide input on risk, cost, and schedule considerations.
- Support the development of subcontractor bid packages and assist in subcontractor selection.
- Ensure project readiness prior to field execution.
- Project Execution and Operations

- Lead day-to-day field and office operations for assigned projects.
- Ensure adherence to company processes, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Drive a culture of safety and quality across the project team and jobsite.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans to meet milestones and commitments.
- Financial and Risk Management

- Take ownership of project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Analyze project financials, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Report regularly on project progress, financial health, and key performance indicators.
- Implement proactive solutions to mitigate cost, schedule, and execution risks.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement

- Support and champion company initiatives and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
- Promote lessons learned and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Support advancement of integrated delivery and the Renegade Delivery Method (RDM).
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 plus years of construction experience.
- Proven track record managing large or complex projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and project execution capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management software, cost management systems.
- Ability to implement new technologies to improve project performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction leadership roles.
- Experience working in integrated or design-build environments.
