New Business Intake Analyst
Permanent Role
Mason Hayes & Curran LLP is a leading Irish law firm based in Dublin with offices in San Francisco, New York and London. We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in the following sectors: Energy; Technology; Financial Services, Built Environment and Healthcare & Life Sciences.
The Role
Mason Hayes & Curran wishes to recruit into our New Business Intake (NBI) unit. This dedicated team is responsible for the creation of all new matters and assists in ensuring the Firm’s compliance with conflict processes and AML procedures.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Completing new business intake process in accordance with our new client central onboarding process and AML Policies; including client analysis, customer risk assessment paperwork and drafting the necessary KYC documentation;
- Drafting appropriate client engagement letters;
- Ongoing monitoring and administrative tasks required to ensure compliance with law society requirements;
- Assisting Fee earners and matter teams with the conflict process, AML process and liaising with finance on billing matters.
Candidate Requirements
- 3-4 years of relevant experience within a professional services firm;
- AML/KYC experience essential
- A legal degree is considered an asset;
- Ability to build relationships across the firm;
- Attention to detail; and
- Proactive, tenacious, methodical and organised approach to work.
This role would ideally suit candidates with a Law Degree. Experience opening new matters is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
