Title: Senior Financial Analyst, Fixed Assets
Duties: The Sr. Financial Analyst, Fixed Assets will review ledger entries to ensure financial reporting complies with US GAAP and company policies. You will also create and review balance sheet reconciliations and accommodate internal and external audit requests. This Sr. Financial Analyst will manage, model, and forecast depreciation and Capex periodically and work with the Tax and Control and Planning Teams to provide support and accurate timely forecasting. You will work with various groups and personnel to manage the weekly fixed asset flows and assist in providing accurate and timely bonus depreciation numbers. In this role, you will work with accounting teams in Mexico on a daily basis to help drive Mexico fixed assets and forecasting process. Additionally, you will travel to Mexico at least every 6 months to meet with teams in person. The Sr. Financial Analyst, Fixed Assets supervises Financial Analysts and Associate Financial Analysts.
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related and 5 years of US and Mexico tax experience in a multinational retail setting, including:
- Microsoft Excel including reporting
- Ensure financial reporting complies with US GAAP and company policies
- Internal and external audit
- Manage, model, and forecast depreciation and Capex
Must be fluent in Spanish. Must be available for travel to company offices Mexico at least every 6 months.
Employer will accept 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
