Purpose

  • As Project Manager, you are accountable for the design, construction, installation, and start-up activities of FPSO units. This requires extensive project management expertise, technical knowledge, and coordination skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

  • You lead the planning, execution, and delivery of FPSO projects from conception through to commissioning and operation.
  • You manage the development of the project plans, schedules and budgets, and manage resource allocation to meet project objectives.
  • You coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure integration and alignment of project activities.
  • You monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project targets are met.
  • You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
  • You manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • You deliver project status reports, including performance metrics, financial updates, and risk assessments to Senior Management.
  • You foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

Experience

  • Significant experience in managing FPSO projects or similar large-scale complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
  • Deep understanding of FPSO design, construction, and operation.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, collaborative approach with the ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
