DevOps Engineer (AWS & Kubernetes)

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail).

• Expertise in Kubernetes cluster setup, scaling, and management.

• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC, with GitHub and Harness for automation.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

• Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows Server administration.

• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) is a plus.

• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD (Kubernetes).

• Experience in multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

• Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance, and audit‑ready documentation.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Kubernetes & EKS Management• Setup, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in AWS (EKS).
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications in EKS.
• Implement cluster upgrades, patching, and security hardening.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Automate builds and deployments using GitHub Actions/Atmos and Harness pipelines.
• Ensure reproducible, compliant infrastructure deployments.

• CI/CD & Application Deployment• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure code.
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and deployment approvals.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline application delivery.

• Cloud & OS Administration• Manage and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers in hybrid environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for system health.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD (Kubernetes).
• Experience in multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
