Position Summary: This position is responsible for development and management of the comprehensive product life cycle for Private Label, with a primary focus on but not limited to roofing membrane systems, insulation, coatings, and adhesives made by Polyglass for others.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages product and development initiatives for Private Label/Co-brands and toll agreements with third parties, including but not limited to new product creation, packaging changes, product discontinuation, product changes, etc.
- Partners with National OEM Sales Manager to manage existing Private Label and co-brand contracts and develops new ones to support business needs and to build and cultivate Private Label program(s).
- Initiates and manages contracts and agreements in coordination with National OEM Sales Manager including NDA’s and Private Label/Co-Brand Agreements.
- Regularly communicates and coordinates any product changes with Product Managers (i.e. Underlayments, Low-Slope Membranes, Coatings, etc.) and Associate Product Manager for Packaging, as required.
- Acts as liaison between Polyglass manufacturing/operations and Private Label to communicate changes or updates within current and new product offering.
- Partners with Private Label counterparts to evaluate opportunities and develop initiatives to grow sales within the current product offering.
- Manages and leads all Private Label product trainings, regular virtual and on-site meetings, and additional company events or activities.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Roofing/Building products industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of leading projects, following solid project management principles.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using enterprise-wide systems such Microsoft D365, SAP, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Office 365 Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams (SharePoint), and PowerPoint.
- Minimum 5 years of experience presenting and interfacing directly with cross-functional teams, Senior Leadership, and external customers.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Travel requirement: 20% or more depending on location
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Private Label and roofing systems.
- Experience running projects through Stage-Gate.
- MBA preferred.
- Experience using Sales Force and Power BI.
