About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will own the reliability, scalability, and automation of cloud-native infrastructures. You will act as the primary architect for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC), ensuring seamless delivery cycles for mission-critical applications. This role is technology-agnostic, requiring a deep understanding of cloud principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and the ability to adapt to diverse client stacks. Your success is measured by deployment frequency, system uptime, and your ability to automate away operational toil while mentoring engineering teams on DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code: Design and maintain scalable cloud environments using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- CI/CD Excellence: Build and optimize automated deployment pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure 24/7 system health.
- Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the delivery lifecycle, managing SSL, IAM, and data encryption.
- Team Influence: Support engineering teams by troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and promoting a culture of high-velocity delivery.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Cloud Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Automation: Strong experience with IaC (Terraform/Pulumi) and Configuration Management.
- Containers: Deep understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/ECS).
- Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
- Communication: Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) for collaboration with US-based clients.
- Environment: Mandatory experience in nearshore/offshore client-facing startup cultures.
