JSC "Georgian Card" has an opening for the position of Senior Java Developer.

JSC "Georgian Card" is a leading processing center in Georgia, providing comprehensive and innovative payment solutions to financial institutions. We are dedicated to developing and managing a secure and efficient payment infrastructure that underpins the country's financial landscape. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the evolution of our cutting-edge financial technology products.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Development :Actively participate in the full product development cycle, including architectural design, hands-on coding, rigorous bug fixing, and the creation of clear, comprehensive documentation.
  • Component & Library Creation : Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code and software components that form the backbone of our systems.
  • Problem Resolution : Engage proactively in the identification, analysis, and resolution of complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our applications.
  • Technical Planning : Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and fellow developers to analyze business requirements and translate them into a detailed technical implementation plan.
  • Code Quality & Mentorship : Uphold high standards for code quality through code reviews and best practices. Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's continuous improvement.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in building complex, enterprise-grade software components using Java or another modern programming language.
  • Proven experience in creating and developing software components utilizing the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
  • Strong understanding of fundamental data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • High proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
  • In-depth knowledge of core web and service concepts, including MVC, JDBC, gRPC, and RESTful API design.
  • Practical, hands-on experience developing and deploying Java microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency with source code management tools, particularly SVN and Git.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing multi-module system architectures based on modern principles and best practices.
