We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated, collaborative, and committed individual to fill our Network Pre-Sales System Engineer position within our Global Sales team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Network Security Engineer who's looking to take their next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Security and Cloud networking, covering GCP, AWS, Azure and Github.
Working as part of an expanding company, members of the team will have opportunities to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team and can expect to be developed to their maximum of their potential.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You get to bring your passion for network security to assist our customers with the following Day to Day activities.
- Deploy and implement security and infrastructure controls
- Deploy just in time credentials and implement workload identity federation across GCP, AWS and Azure where possible.
- Implement Data perimeter controls (Service control policies, VPC service controls etc)
- Improve audit logging and DLP visibility
- Establish SIEM controls
- Review existing firewall rule sets for best in class standards
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Demonstrate strong understanding of some or all of the following environments: AWS, GCP, Azure and Github.
- Familiarity with major networking security vendors and solutions, e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto, Splunk etc
- Adept at using initiative, discretion, and judgment to apply technical solutions to complex operating environments.
- Strong familiarity and understanding if SIEM controls and Identity Access management.
- Impactful verbal and written communication and good presentation skills.
- Great relationship building skills, tenacity, resilience.
- Ability to work independently and remotely as well as with your team to accomplish objectives.
- Good understanding of the market space and offerings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Write and speak English fluently.
- Most of all a team player with a passion of technology and the impact it can make on our customers businesses, someone who helps others, likes to get involved, and have fun
- Previous experience working in a similar environment is ideal
