Angular Senior Developer, IT Solutions

Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Develop complex software using modern UI/UX and Angular best practices according to requirements
• Define and adhere to development team standards for code quality and source code control
• Document code and expected application behaviors, and produce technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments on moderately complex issues
• Lead efforts to analyze, diagnose, and fix performance, functional software, and end-user issues
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating existing analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
• Perform manual testing in the development environment to ensure software efficiency, and write/maintain automated tests related to UI/UX functionality
• Perform regression risk assessments related to code changes for requested functionality
• Act as a mentor and subject-matter expert to colleagues with less experience, and perform peer code reviews for the application development team
• Maintain accurate status of tickets and tasks in the project management system
• Determine and design moderate to complex system specifications, standards, and programming, including preparing and installing solutions within the scope of architecture, quality, and security policies
• Work independently on more complex projects and/or lines of work, with output reviewed for accuracy and soundness

 

What you’ll need (Required):

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of previous related experience, and training in the specific technologies and programming languages used for development
• 5 years of experience developing Angular 17+ applications, including the latest Ivy-based versions
• 5+ years of experience developing responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications
• Expertise in Angular Reactive Form development with complex dynamic fields and validations
• Expertise in web-based UI/UX best practices across a variety of devices and screen sizes
• Expertise in cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, Safari) for web, desktop, and mobile
• Expertise in responsive and touch-friendly UI/UX development
• Expertise with modern Angular UI libraries such as Ionic, Material, Bootstrap
• Experience developing and maintaining reusable Angular components using best practices
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Playwright SDLC tools
• Demonstrated experience with Git-based source control and Continuous Integration practices (e.g., Git Flow)
• Knowledge of SQL queries and API development as needed to support UI/UX development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organized skills, with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management abilities

 

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Full-stack Angular experience with SQLite
• Certificates.dev Senior Angular Developer Certification (or equivalent), validating advanced proficiency in Angular components, RxJS, reactive forms, and TypeScript patterns
• Development of offline iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Windows Desktop applications using hybrid web technologies with offline support (Apache Cordova, Ionic Capacitor, Electron)
• Knowledge of automated unit testing for Angular using Jasmine, Karma, and Angular TestBed
• Experience developing internal-facing enterprise applications with an emphasis on business workflows and data utilization
• Understanding of standard business workflows related to Sales, Marketing, and Inventory Management for high-value products, and related CRM/ERP ecosystems
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM capabilities, including custom objects, REST APIs, workflows, and Apex triggers
• Knowledge of best practices related to IT governance, operations, and administration
