Position Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, automation, and production operations. The ideal candidate should be able to design, build, automate, monitor, and troubleshoot scalable infrastructure and deployment platforms across development and production environments.
This role requires strong technical ownership, problem-solving ability, clear communication, and an interest in improving operational efficiency through automation, AI workflows, scripting, and modern DevOps practices.
What you will do:
· Design, build, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with exposure to GCP considered an advantage.
· Manage and operate containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
· Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, Git, and Bitbucket.
· Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and automation tools such as Ansible.
· Monitor applications, servers, infrastructure, and services for performance, reliability, availability, and security.
· Work with observability tools including monitoring, logging, alerting, visibility platforms, and Elasticsearch.
· Support production troubleshooting, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational improvements.
· Automate routine operational tasks using Shell, Bash, Python, and AI-based automation workflows.
· Explore and implement AI productivity tools such as N8n, AI agents, LLM-based workflows, and automation where relevant.
· Work with messaging and caching technologies such as Kafka, Redis, or similar systems.
· Support 24/7 on-call monitoring and alert handling when required.
· Improve deployment quality through health checks, readiness/liveness probes, scaling, rolling updates, rollback strategies, and Kubernetes troubleshooting.
· Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable and scalable platforms.
· Clearly articulate design decisions, implementation choices, risks, and trade-offs.
· Mentor junior engineers and help improve DevOps standards, documentation, and operational maturity.
Must-Have Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
· 2+ years of hands-on DevOps, Cloud, SRE, or Platform Engineering experience.
· Strong experience with Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
· Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD, preferably using Jenkins and ArgoCD.
· Strong scripting skills in Shell, Bash, and Python.
· Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
· Strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
· Basic and advanced troubleshooting
· Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
· Strong working knowledge of AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
· Experience with version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
· Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems.
· Experience with Elasticsearch and visibility/monitoring platforms.
· Exposure to messaging or caching systems such as Kafka, Redis, or similar technologies.
· Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
· Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot application, server, cloud, and environment issues.
· Ability to clearly communicate technical designs, implementation choices, operational risks, and mitigation plans.
· Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
· Exposure to GCP services, cloud monitoring, or multi-cloud environments.
· Experience with N8n, AI agents, LLM-based automation, or AI productivity workflows.
· Experience building automation to improve operational efficiency.
· Experience with advanced observability stacks, dashboards, alert tuning, and incident analytics.
· Experience with GitOps-based deployment models.
· Experience with security, cost optimization, cloud governance, and compliance practices.
· Participation in open-source projects, hackathons, technical competitions, or self-learning initiatives.
· Experience mentoring junior DevOps engineers or interns.
· Familiarity with production support models and 24/7 on-call processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a technically strong and proactive DevOps engineer who can take ownership of infrastructure, automation, deployments, monitoring, and production reliability. They should be comfortable working in fast-moving development and production environments, learning new tools quickly, and applying automation-first thinking to reduce manual effort.
A strong interest in AI-driven DevOps automation, LLM-based productivity tools, and workflow automation will be a plus.
