Triunity Software is looking for a talented Java Developer to join our growing team in Montreal, QC. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and backend services
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge across the team
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical planning sessions
- Integrate third-party APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, OOP principles, and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or French
