About the role

You will be responsible for architecting end-to-end solutions and establishing architectural roadmaps across multiple domains for GE entities. This includes performing implementation assurance, managing technical debt, and developing standards and guidelines for the architecture repository.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect role and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Expertise in architectural modeling, design patterns, and knowledge of frameworks like TOGAF is required.

Full description

You are responsible for architecting and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions across multiple domains that meet business objectives and align with enterprise architecture. You will need to partner with key business and IT stakeholders to establish architectural road map for different domains across all GE entities (Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia).

  • Analyse business objectives and design a technical strategy
  • Develop architecture roadmap for portfolio
  • Develop solution architecture with support from application/software architects
  • Perform implementation assurance to ensure delivery team’s continuous alignment with approved solution
  • Perform technical debt management to ensure debts are monitored and resolved
  • Perform technology selection
  • Develop solution architecture and solution building blocks that contributes to the architecture repository
  • Develop standards/ guidelines/ playbooks that contributes to the architecture repository
  • Develop application road map for assigned portfolio
  • Obtain approval for solution, application roadmap, architecture/design decisions etc to architecture board
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience performing Solution Architect role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • Expert in solution architecture design and is well versed in applying architectural/ design patterns and design principles
  • Expert in solution architecture modelling using various techniques such as C4, Arch42, UML etc
  • Expert in developing standards, guidelines etc
  • Expert in developing complex solution architecture consisting of multiple technologies across different domains, such as application, infrastructure, data, cloud etc
  • Experience in performing technology selection
  • Experience in developing architecture roadmap
  • Knowledge of TOGAF or relevant enterprise architecture framework is required
  • Familiar with Insurance Industry and has a broad awareness of technologies that are relevant in the industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong aptitude in acquiring new technical concepts/ knowledge
