About the role

We are seeking a driven Electronics Customer Support Engineer (m/f/d) with proven hands-on experience supporting both internal and external customers to solve technical problems, including problem analysis, troubleshooting, and issue tracking. In this role, you will support and maintain existing products to ensure they remain fully operational, and develop and implement new solutions for robust hardware.

Success in this role requires technical excellence, customer handling and the ability to adapt and make decisions under uncertainty.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary technical contact for customer support, handling troubleshooting, issue tracking, and root cause analysis
  • Maintain documentation, FAQs, and a database of reported issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration and support development/production
  • Manage BOMs, SOPs, quality documentation, and resolve electronics-related issues
  • Perform hands-on technical tasks and support procurement by sourcing components and suppliers

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years of proven work experience in related fields
  • Experience in robotics, electronics, mechatronics, or automation industries
  • Background in designing robust cabling solutions and cable harnesses
  • Familiarity with electronics design and PCB production stages
  • Knowledge of structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis to validate designs

Your Profile

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, issue tracking, and root cause analysis of complex electronic products
  • Soldering and Desoldering of SMD, BGA, through-hole components
  • Proficiency in Altium or similar PCB design tools
  • Proficiency is using electronic tools like a multimeter, a power supply, and an oscilloscope.
  • Proficiency in English, Spoken and written
  • Strong knowledge of electronics design principles
  • Knowledge of actuators and sensors using robotics, familiarity with sensor integration (force/torque sensors, encoders, IMUs)
