Position Title: Junior Data Engineer, CRM 

Client account: Samsung

Location: Plano, TX / Hybrid

Team: CRM Data & Analytics (Data-driven Strategy), reporting to the Data Lead

Type: Full-Time

Start Date: Immediate

Position Overview

The Junior Data Engineer handles the day-to-day data work for the Samsung Mobile (MX) CRM program. The role pulls data from client systems, prepares clean datasets for the analysts, and keeps data quality high, working under the Senior Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Data extraction

  • Extract data from C360, Tableau, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Campaign on request and on schedule.

Data preparation

  • Clean, join and format data to the analysts' specifications.
  • Support audience counts and segment checks before deployment.

Quality and documentation

  • Run quality checks and reconcile numbers across sources.
  • Document data sources, fields and recurring jobs.

Platform support

  • Help build and maintain pipelines on the Cheil data server (Google Cloud or AWS).

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years in data engineering or data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
  • Exposure to Google Cloud or AWS.
  • Careful and organized, with strong attention to data accuracy.
  • Experience with marketing data or Adobe tools is a plus.
  • Must be able to work on a hybrid schedule at the agency in Plano, Texas.
