ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support creative concepts from initial idea through to final execution, with a strong focus on hands-on design and artworking.
  • Design and build commercial and brand emails, developing creative execution and improving processes over time.
  • Create and update digital assets for the website and marketing channels.
  • Design and artwork point-of-sale materials for retail stores, considering messaging, clarity and customer experience.
  • Support retail and store design projects, learning how the brand translates into physical spaces.
  • Support print production, including preparing artwork and specifications, and liaising with printers, contractors and freelancers when required.
  • Create paid digital advertisements across multiple platforms, adapting artwork to varying specifications.
  • Design social media content and advertisements, ensuring alignment with the brand identity.
  • Develop and update internal templates and business documents.
  • Design, update and artwork packaging when required.
  • Manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, taking guidance from mid-weight and lead designers where needed.
  • Work across marketing channels to create thoughtful, on-brand design solutions, learning and developing through feedback from the wider Creative team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FINISTERRE

  •  A passion for graphic design, visual communication and the Finisterre brand, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of what makes great design.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your creativity, curiosity and ability to communicate ideas visually. This could be from professional, personal, study, freelance or self-initiated projects.
  • A willingness to collaborate, contribute ideas and work positively as part of a creative team.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusivity and sustainability, with an interest in how design can contribute to positive social and environmental change.
  • Passion, energy and curiosity that align with Finisterre's values, products, brand and customers
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
  • A positive attitude towards change, with the ability to manage your time, stay organised and work calmly when things get busy.

We are offering a full time, permanent contract, based at our Headquarters at Wheal Kitty, St Agnes, Cornwall. We’ll invest in you with a competitive salary of £27,000, depending on your skills and experience.
