About Greater IMPACT Church

Greater IMPACT Church is a Christ-centered, digital-first ministry on a mission to share the love, truth, and transforming power of Jesus Christ. Operating with a global digital reach alongside expanding local community initiatives in the Greater Reading area, we leverage visual excellence, modern design, and thoughtful presentation to communicate the timeless message of Jesus. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer & Presentation Specialist to shape our visual identity across digital displays, sermon series, and presentation decks.

Role Overview

The Graphic Designer & Presentation Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing how our congregation and online viewers experience God's Word visually. From sermon series title art and lower thirds to Sunday slide decks, digital bulletins, and promotional graphics, your design work will bring clarity, beauty, and emotional resonance to our services and communications.

You will collaborate directly with Pastoral Leadership to translate sermon themes and ministry announcements into clean, modern visual assets—empowered to use whatever design tools you thrive in (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Figma, ProPresenter, or Google Slides).

Scope of Service & Key Responsibilities

Sermon Series & Theme Design: Create visually compelling key art, title slides, social announcement graphics, and digital banners for upcoming sermon series, seasonal campaigns, and special events.

Sunday Presentation Deck Formatting: Build, format, and organize Sunday message slide decks—ensuring legible typography, clean layout of Scripture verses, key sermon bullet points, and visual illustrations.

Lower Thirds & Screen Graphics: Design broadcast-ready lower-third title graphics, speaker nameplates, and announcement bumpers for online streaming and service video production.

Digital & Print Collateral: Produce digital flyers, social media graphic templates, and occasional promotional assets for local Reading community outreach initiatives.

Brand Integrity: Maintain consistent visual branding, color palettes, and typographic hierarchy across all digital presentation formats.

Qualifications & Requirements

Visual Design Craft & Portfolio: Proven graphic design ability demonstrated through an active portfolio, design samples, or previous slide/presentation projects (PDF, Behance, Canva links, website, or Google Drive).

Typography & Layout Sense: Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, readability on screens/mobile devices, color theory, and modern minimalist church aesthetics.

Tool Proficiency: Experience with design software of choice (Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, ProPresenter, Keynote, or Google Slides).

Reliability & Turnaround: Ability to consistently deliver weekly slide assets and graphics by established weekly deadlines prior to Sunday services.

Heart for Kingdom Ministry: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to use creative visual design to glorify God and serve the local and digital church.
