Full description

The Technical Lead is a hands-on software engineering leader responsible for guiding a development team, ensuring alignment with the technical direction, and delivering high-quality products. This role combines technical leadership with backend and full-stack development responsibilities, with a focus on building reliable services, integrating systems, and supporting modern delivery practices in cloud and microservices environments.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a development team to ensure alignment with the technical direction
  • Ensure quality products are delivered through sound engineering practices
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring/Spring Boot
  • Design and implement APIs and integrations using REST/JSON/XML and message queue concepts
  • Support microservices architecture and related integration patterns
  • Apply continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices using appropriate tools
  • Contribute to cloud-native infrastructure and DevSecOps-aligned development approaches
  • Collaborate on deployment and release activities for applications
  • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code and support maintainability
  • Use unit testing practices to help ensure code quality and performance
  • Work with version control systems such as Git to manage and review code changes

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot for backend development
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong understanding of API, microservices, and integration concepts (e.g., REST, JSON, XML, message queues)
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS or Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes, ceremonies, and methodologies
  • Experience writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Familiar with unit testing to ensure code quality and performance
  • Experience with version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservice Architecture
  • Experience with deploying applications to App Store and Play Store
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS
  • Solid foundation in backend, web, and mobile application development
