What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Salesforce QA Engineer, you will own quality for our Salesforce CRM platform — powering high-volume, mission-critical financial operations spanning client onboarding, trading account lifecycle, and regulatory workflows. You will take primary responsibility for building and maintaining automated test coverage using Playwright, embedding quality gates into CI/CD, and mentoring other QA engineers, while acting as the team's go-to authority on Salesforce quality — partnering closely with CRM engineering, DevOps, and compliance stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

Automation Framework Development & Execution

• Design, build, and maintain Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) automation frameworks covering Salesforce Lightning UI (Lightning Web Components, dynamic locators, shadow DOM) and Apex-driven business logic.

• Integrate automated Salesforce test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), ensuring quality gates are enforced on every release.

• Manage test planning and execution through QMetry for Jira, maintaining full traceability from requirements through to defect resolution.

• Participate in code reviews, champion automation best practices, and mentor other QA engineers in automation-first, shift-left testing.

Functional & UI Testing (LWC & Core Business Logic)

• Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across custom Lightning Web Components and backend Apex business logic.

• Validate complex CRM processes including client onboarding, automated account assignment, and multi-region regulatory compliance rules.

Integration & API Testing

• Verify bi-directional API data exchange between Salesforce, proprietary services, third-party trading platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5), and payment gateways, using Postman (REST/SOAP) with automated monitor collections.

• Inspect request/response payloads, simulate integration error scenarios, and validate asynchronous transaction processing.

Domain-Specific & Security Testing

• Validate end-to-end financial workflows: KYC/verification document pipelines, trading account lifecycle management, and deposit/withdrawal processing.

• Test and enforce Salesforce security models: Profiles, Permission Set Groups, Custom Permissions, Field-Level Security (FLS), and record-level sharing logic.

• Ensure test coverage reflects the regulatory and compliance obligations of a broker regulated by ASIC, CySEC, and other authorities.

QA Process, Test Design & Release Governance

• Design, maintain, and execute structured test plans, test cases, and regression checklists within Jira and QMetry.

• Own release sign-off for Salesforce CRM changes: structured test cycles, defect traceability, and documented approval gates before production deployment.

• Investigate root causes, log high-quality defect reports with detailed reproduction steps, and partner closely with developers through resolution.

Data Verification & Direct Querying

• Write and execute SOQL queries directly in developer consoles/tools to validate data consistency, record states, and platform events without relying solely on UI displays.

AI-Augmented QA & Continuous Improvement

• Support adoption of AI-assisted testing workflows — automated test case generation, intelligent ticket triage, and LLM-powered test coverage analysis — as applied to Salesforce QA.

• Continuously improve test efficiency and reliability through tooling improvements and smarter test selection.

 

Qualifications:

Salesforce Platform & Architecture Expertise

• 4+ years of hands-on software testing experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, including 1-2 years in a senior or lead capacity.

• Solid understanding of standard and custom Salesforce objects, relationships, automation behavior, and platform constraints.

Automation & CI/CD

• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for web automation, applied to Salesforce Lightning UI.

• Proficiency integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.

• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Scratch Orgs, and sandbox lifecycles.

Technical Skills & API Validation

• Proven experience in API testing using Postman (REST/SOAP), validating JSON payloads, HTTP status codes, and error-handling paths.

• Strong ability to write and execute SOQL queries for backend data validation and verification.

Security & Data Model Proficiency

• Thorough understanding of the Salesforce security architecture: Profiles, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Roles, Sharing Rules, and FLS.

FinTech / Brokerage Domain Experience

• Familiarity with the financial, forex, or trading industry (e.g., trading account types, KYC/AML verification funnels, partner/IB models).

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)

• Performance and load testing experience (k6, JMeter).

• Cross-browser / cross-device testing experience (e.g., BrowserStack).

• Experience integrating AI/LLM-based tools (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, n8n) into QA workflows.

• Salesforce Certified Administrator or ISTQB certification.
