As Project Manager Global Expansion & Real Estate, you will support the strategic steering of our global real estate portfolio and help translate complex business priorities into clear, actionable real estate decisions. You will create transparency on key projects, structure decision-making processes and prepare high-quality materials for senior stakeholders.
Working at the intersection of Real Estate, Business Planning, Finance, Strategy and external partners, you will ensure structured project governance, transparent follow-up management and strong decision preparation for key global real estate topics. This fixed-term role is limited to 24 months and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to key transformation and strategy initiatives within Global Expansion & Real Estate, with strong exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-making processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structuring complex topics, working closely with senior decision-makers and contributing to the future development of a global retail real estate portfolio.
What you can expect:
Strategy & Transformation
- Contribute to the development and execution of the global real estate strategy in line with company priorities
- Translate strategic objectives into clear real estate actions, roadmaps and transformation initiatives
Portfolio Steering & Governance
- Establish clear reporting formats, KPI views and dashboards to track portfolio performance, project progress, risks and upcoming decision points
- Drive structured portfolio and project reviews, including documentation, follow-up management and accountability tracking
Business Cases & Decision Preparation
- Prepare and review business cases, project assessments and approval documents, ensuring that financial, operational and strategic implications are clearly reflected
- Support scenario modelling, prioritization and management recommendations based on financial, operational and strategic implications
Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Structure and steer key workstreams within global real estate initiatives, ensuring clear responsibilities, timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, deliverables and follow-ups across functions and external partners
Tools, Standards & Executive Communication
- Develop and improve templates, standards and best-practice tools for global real estate steering
- Translate complex real estate topics into concise, executive-ready presentations, decision documents and briefings for senior management and governance committees
Your profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or a comparable field
- Several years of relevant experience in real estate, expansion, strategy, consulting or project management, ideally in an international corporate environment
- Solid understanding of real estate value drivers, portfolio steering, business cases, project governance and the operational requirements of implementation
- Experience in retail real estate or international multi-site environments is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to structure complex topics and derive actionable recommendations
- Excellent project management capabilities, including stakeholder coordination, workstream structuring and timeline tracking
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build structured analyses, dashboards and executive-ready presentation materials
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international, cross-functional environment
- Collaborative, proactive and resilient personality with high ownership, reliability and attention to detail
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
