Opportunity

At AIMCo, data and technology are fundamental to delivering investment excellence. As a Senior Analyst, Data Platform DevOps, you will help build, operate, and evolve AIMCo's Modern Data Platform, enabling trusted, scalable, and innovative data solutions that support investment decision-making across the organization.

Working closely with Data & AI, Technology, Architecture, Cloud Services, and Data Product teams, you will contribute to the reliability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of AIMCo's enterprise data platforms. This role is ideal for a technology professional who is passionate about automation, cloud engineering, platform operations, and creating solutions that empower users and teams across the business.

What You Will Do

• Build, configure, monitor, and support AIMCo's Modern Data Platform and its integrated technologies and services.
• Partner with Data Product, Architecture, Cloud Services, Governance, and Application teams to deliver scalable and reliable platform capabilities.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, developer tooling, and operational processes that improve platform efficiency and resiliency.
• Support cloud infrastructure and platform services within Microsoft Azure, ensuring performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
• Monitor platform health and troubleshoot incidents, problems, and operational issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using industry-leading tools and practices.
• Support data integration, ingestion, and processing capabilities across a broad ecosystem of enterprise technologies.
• Contribute to platform observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance platform capabilities, automation, and innovation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures that support effective service delivery.
• Collaborate within Agile and DevOps delivery models to drive continuous improvement and successful business outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience supporting and operating enterprise technology platforms, data platforms, or cloud-based solutions.
• 6+ years of software development experience, including proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong experience with cloud technologies and services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, streaming technologies, and modern data platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Collibra, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Professional certifications in cloud engineering, data engineering, DevOps, or IT service management.
• Experience supporting highly available, real-time processing platforms and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and enterprise data management practices.
• Familiarity with the investment management, financial services, or capital markets industry.
