Commercial Roofing Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to join our growing team in Fort Myers, Florida.
This is a hands-on project management role for someone who understands commercial roofing and knows how to take a project from handoff through successful completion. You’ll coordinate field operations, crews, materials, schedules, customers, subcontractors, safety, quality, and project financials.

What You'll Do
- Manage commercial roofing projects from preconstruction handoff through completion and closeout
- Plan and coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, field crews, vendors, and internal teams
- Review project scopes, contracts, plans, specifications, and change requirements
- Monitor project budgets, production, labor, material usage, and overall job profitability
- Identify potential delays, cost overruns, scope issues, and project risks before they become larger problems
- Coordinate material deliveries and ensure projects have what they need to stay productive
- Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, building owners, and other project stakeholders
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and schedule
- Manage RFIs, change orders, documentation, project correspondence, and closeout requirements
- Ensure work meets company quality standards, manufacturer requirements, project specifications, and applicable codes
- Partner with Safety and field leadership to maintain safe jobsites
- Participate in project meetings and provide accurate updates on schedule, production, costs, and outstanding issues
- Help resolve field challenges quickly and keep projects moving toward completion
What We're Looking For
- Commercial roofing experience strongly preferred
- Previous Project Management, Assistant Project Management, Superintendent, or similar commercial roofing experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, coatings, metal roofing, and related systems
- Strong understanding of roofing installation, sequencing, production, and jobsite operations
- Ability to read plans, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities
- Comfortable working with budgets, job costs, change orders, and project documentation
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with field crews, customers, subcontractors, and management
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed
- Comfortable using construction/project management software, Microsoft Office, and mobile technology
