Full description

This is a remote position.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot

- Develop microservices architecture for high-throughput, low-latency data processing

- Build event-driven systems using Kafka, Kafka Streams, or similar messaging platforms

- Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and optimize query performance

- Collaborate with Frontend, Data, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end features

- Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito)

- Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes

Requirements

- Proven and practical hands-on backend development experience

- Proficiency and proven expertise in Java and Spring Boot ecosystem

- Experience building microservices and REST APIs at scale

- Working knowledge of Kafka or similar event streaming platforms

- Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching (Redis)

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

- Solid understanding of design patterns, OOP, and clean code principles

- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and agile practices
