We are looking to bring a Senior Business Analyst (Individual) onto our Individual Project Management team. The Senior Business Analyst (Individual) plays a key role in contributing to the on time and on budget success of various projects by accurately capturing the requirements and scope. This role typically works on smaller initiatives and/or works with a more Senior BA on mid-sized initiatives.

Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.
What you’ll do:
- Lead discovery, analysis, and solution-definition activities for complex business initiatives.
- Translate business challenges into actionable requirements, process improvements, and measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and decision-making sessions to drive alignment and clarity.
- Partner with business leaders, Product Owners, Operations, Underwriting, Digital, and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, gaps, assumptions, and potential impacts across people, process, and technology.
- Support project delivery through requirements management, implementation planning, business readiness activities, and post-launch validation.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business expectations and quality standards.
- Mentor Business Analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices, methodologies, and AI-enabled ways of working
What you’ll bring:
- Extensive Business Analysis experience supporting complex business and technology initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical, business-focused solutions.
- Strong expertise in requirements management, business process analysis, process mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Proven ability to influence decisions, build consensus, and navigate competing stakeholder priorities without formal authority.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Experience supporting solution delivery, implementation planning, testing, change readiness, and business adoption activities.
- Strong critical-thinking, root-cause analysis, and risk-management capabilities with a focus on delivering business outcomes.
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring others, driving continuous improvement, and elevating the BA practice.

Your base pay will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and education. In addition to your salary, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award tied to business performance, plus a wide range of competitive benefits.
