At Trade Me our vision is to be the place where Kiwi look first.As a Senior Product Manager in the Trade Me Motors team based in Auckland, you will guide strategy in our next phase of growth while identifying where to add value to our proposition. Reporting to Motors’ Head of Product & Marketing, you will focus on creating great experiences for our users. You will have a direct impact on customer and business outcomes, driving innovation and expanding business lines beyond current offerings.

Here is what you can expect from this role:

  • Manage a mature portfolio of products, balancing the optimisation of existing assets with the innovation of new business lines
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap aligned with long-term business goals
  • Execute strong discovery practices to deeply understand and validate customer problems before investing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, sales and marketing teams to provide problem context and drive buy-in
  • Establish transparent success measurements focused on outcomes over outputs, utilising rapid experimentation
  • Practice ruthless prioritisation to focus team efforts strictly on high-value initiatives

What you will bring to our team:

  • 5+ years of product management experience leading strategies that deliver proven commercial and customer results
  • Proven experience owning an entire business area or portfolio, including pricing, monetisation and GTM planning
  • Strategic mindset with proven experience managing P&L targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong analytical capability to draw insights from data alongside deep customer-centric curiosity
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience navigating executive-level conversations
  • Proficiency in Agile software development frameworks and resilience when navigating ambiguity
  • Proactive approach to exploring and integrating AI tools to streamline decision-making and delivery
