About this Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant with expertise in SAP FIORI/UI5, JavaScript and Node.js to contribute across the full software development lifecycle. This role is suited to professionals with strong ABAP development capabilities, hands-on experience with modern SAP technologies, and a proven ability to solve complex technical challenges. The successful candidate will work on enterprise-scale SAP solutions, automation initiatives, and cross-functional business processes spanning SAP FICO, SCM and HR domains.

What you’ll do

Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.Develop, test, optimise and maintain high-quality SAP applications and services.Design and build efficient, scalable and maintainable ABAP solutions aligned with business requirements.Develop and support SAP integrations using ALE, IDOC, Proxy technologies, BAPIs and BDC.Create and enhance reports including ALV, Classical and Interactive reports.Implement enhancements using User Exits, BAdIs, Implicit Enhancements and Explicit Enhancements.Develop forms using Adobe Forms and SmartForms.Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles within ABAP developments.Build and optimise SAP HANA-based solutions using ABAP CDS, AMDP and OData services.Develop and support SAP FIORI/UI5 applications and modern user experiences.Contribute to development activities involving JavaScript, Node.js, SAP BTP, CAPM and RAP.Participate in automation development projects and continuous improvement initiatives.Troubleshoot complex technical issues using advanced debugging and problem-solving techniques.Evaluate emerging technologies and present recommendations for architectural review.

Who you are

Proficient in SAP ABAP programming with strong knowledge of the SAP development ecosystem.Demonstrated expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP development.Experience in:

• ALV, Classical and Interactive Reporting

• ALE, IDOC and Proxy Interfaces

• BAPI and BDC Conversions

• User Exits, BAdIs, Implicit and Explicit Enhancements

• Adobe Forms and SmartForms

Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA technologies including:

• ABAP CDS (Core Data Services)

• AMDP

• OData Protocol

Exposure to or experience with:

• SAP UI5/FIORI

• JavaScript

• Node.js

• SAP BTP

• CAPM

• RAP

Experience delivering automation development projects.Experience supporting SAP FICO, SCM and HR modules.Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to technical excellence.
