The Servicing Analytics team partners with Mortgage Servicing leadership and operational business units to provide data driven insights, reporting solutions, and analytical support that improve business performance, member experience, and operational efficiency. The team is responsible for developing and enhancing enterprise reporting, modernizing financial and operational data assets, and leveraging innovative technologies to deliver actionable insights across the servicing organization.
A key focus area for the team is the development and expansion of the Analytics Innovation Platform (AIP), an integrated analytics environment that enables scalable reporting, automated data solutions, self service insights, and advanced business intelligence capabilities.
The Servicing Analytics teams are focused on delivering high quality analytics and reporting solutions that support strategic decision making across the organization. Their objectives include modernizing servicing financial and data assets, enhancing reporting capabilities through Power BI and AIP, improving operational efficiency through automation and innovative data solutions, and partnering with servicing stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements that drive business value and operational excellence.
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.

Potential Projects:
The Summer Associate will:
- Assist in the development and enhancement of the Analytics Innovation Platform (AIP) to support servicing business intelligence initiatives
- Support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions used by Servicing leaders and business partners
- Analyze servicing and financial performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to improve the quality, accessibility, and usability of servicing data
- Assist with modernization efforts related to servicing financial, operational, and performance reporting
- Develop data visualizations and executive-ready reporting materials for leadership presentations and business reviews
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency
- Participate in analytical projects that support key servicing functions such as portfolio performance, retention, member experience, operational productivity, and financial reporting
Responsibilities
- Partner with a designated Servicing business unit to understand operational processes, reporting challenges, and analytical needs
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and ongoing collaboration with business partners
- Assist in the enhancement and expansion of the Analytics Innovation Platform (AIP) by translating business needs into reporting and analytics solutions
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and analytics products that provide actionable insights for Servicing leaders and frontline teams
Analyze servicing, operational, and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement
- Support the design and delivery of self-service reporting capabilities that improve data accessibility and decision-making
- Collaborate with business partners to validate reporting requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Contribute to financial and operational data enhancement initiatives that improve the accuracy, consistency, and usability of information used by Servicing stakeholders
- Create clear documentation of business requirements, data definitions, reporting logic, and enhancement recommendations
- Present project updates, key findings, and final recommendations to Servicing leadership and business stakeholders
- Participate in Agile team ceremonies, project planning activities, and cross-functional collaboration with analytics, technology, and business team
- Deliver a capstone project that demonstrates measurable business value through AIP enhancements, reporting modernization, or data-driven process improvements
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau
Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and data analysis concepts, Key emphasis on SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, cloud-based analytics platforms, or modern data environments is a plus
- Experience working with data visualization and reporting concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify trends and derive insights from data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Interest in financial services, mortgage servicing, business intelligence, and emerging analytics technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Python, R, or similar analytical tools
- Coursework or projects involving business intelligence, data analytics, data visualization, or financial analysis
- Familiarity with dashboard design principles and user experience concepts
Exposure to data warehousing, cloud analytics platforms, or data engineering concepts
- Interest in process automation, artificial intelligence, and analytics innovation
