Your Role:

Commercial Business Intelligence Partner  As a Commercial Business Intelligence Partner, you will join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team to turn complex commercial data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. In this role, you will perform essential data transformation and visualization using Tableau, Databricks, and SQL, while partnering closely with commercial stakeholders in a dynamic environment to translate ambiguous business questions into scalable data solutions. Over time, as our data foundation matures, this role will expand its advisory footprint across additional enterprise functions. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Data Solution Architecture & Execution: Analyze, query, and transform large-scale commercial datasets using SQL and Databricks; build foundational data models, queries, and data views to feed intuitive dashboards and reports. 
  • Dashboard Design & Visualization: Design and deploy executive-ready dashboards and visualizations in Tableau (and Power BI) to track commercial KPIs, sales performance, and channel metrics, delivering clear data stories that inform business decisions. 
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Prioritization: Partner with cross-functional commercial leaders to define business questions, clarify requirements under ambiguous conditions, balance multiple requests, and deliver data analyses under tight turnaround times. 
  • Commercial Data Translation: Apply data literacy to interpret sales, retail-out, and distribution data; identify root causes behind business trends and translate quantitative findings into strategic recommendations. 
  • Capability Expansion & Evolution: Support data maturity initiatives across the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, standardizing reporting processes, advancing best practices, and enabling the broader adoption of self-service analytics across business units. 

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field) or equivalent level of experience. 
  • Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or commercial data analytics. 
  • Top Skills: Advanced Tableau expertise (Power BI a plus) with strong proficiency in SQL and large dataset analysis (Databricks/data lakes); High data literacy and a proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into actionable solutions under tight turnaround times. 

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): 

  • Experience with commercial, sales, retail-out, or distribution data within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Pharmaceutical, or Animal Health industries. 
  • Hands-on experience querying and modeling data in Databricks and working with modern cloud data warehouse architectures. 
  • Working knowledge of Python for advanced data manipulation or automation. 
  • Proven ability to balance priorities across multiple stakeholders, set realistic expectations, and communicate trade-offs effectively in a dynamic environment. 
  • Experience collaborating with global cross-functional teams and supporting enterprise analytics transformation.

  • Travel: Up to 10% (Occasional travel as required for key meetings)
