Lumen Mundi is a leading manufacturer and distributor in the Catholic and Inspirational Gift industry seeking an eCommerce and Product Manager to join our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help lead our overall eCommerce and product efforts, who also has a leadership background. You will be an integral part of the development and execution of our ecommerce strategy to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion across social media and traditional marketing channels, as well as online sales and customer growth. In addition, you will have leadership responsibilities to manage one offshore resource. Our ideal candidate has an eCommerce and product leadership background, with experience in supporting sales and marketing campaigns, expertise with Shopify, and knowledge of SAP, Adobe, Microsoft, and online tools, with an eye for detail and familiarity with data management and intelligence.
Our ideal candidate will be a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas. You should also be well-versed in specialized ecommerce concepts, principles and tactics and have experience in driving online sales and growth, leveraging external partners and agencies to help support the web sites you and your team manage.
Ultimately, a successful individual in this role will deliver online growth in raw customer counts as well as sales that will help our reputation and growth, while on the sales side, assist the team in driving campaigns, maintaining the system, maintaining the websites, and creating new ideas to help drive sales.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Graphic Designer and work closely with third party firms on design projects for eCommerce campaigns and the website (including landing pages, homepage assets, marketing efforts, etc.).
- Manage UX/UI Designers and website developers to continuously improve the website with a focus on customer growth as well as adding new functionality.
- Along with our marketing partners and outside agency, conduct market research and develop copy and content that is targeted to our consumers requirements, habits, and trends.
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative online marketing and sales campaigns for B to B and B to C brands.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, catalog and brochure development, trade show and event planning etc.).
- Liaise with external vendors, sales and product teams and company leadership to execute promotional events and campaigns across ecommerce platforms.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to coordinate brand awareness and ecommerce efforts.
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (SEO / SEM, social media, e-mail, brochures, catalogs, etc.).
- Assist in analyzing eCommerce data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future strategies.
- Oversee the input of customer and account data by ensuring timely data entry.
- Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for data entry.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
- Working with management, sales, and vendors, develop product sales strategy for web platforms and coordinating collateral on social media and print.
- Apply data program techniques and procedures.
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations. Keep information confidential.
- Work with management to develop stocking, pricing, and online sales efforts across platforms
- Comply with data integrity and security policies.
- You must be detail oriented and good at proofreading to ensure accurate data is entered, errors are caught before going to print, and items are always correct.
- Must be flexible and willing to change focus and direction as needed, as priorities sometimes shift, and you need to be able to change direction as business needs change.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
This position works in an office setting with some interactions in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Current days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM. to 5:30 PM, but, as an exempt employee, work outside of these standard hours is sometimes required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years previous experience in Marketing, Product or e-Com leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify, with 5-8 years of experience
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methods;
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
- Solid computer skills, including email, MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Shopify, Web analytics, Google AdWords etc.).
- Knowledge of web development tools desired. SAP knowledge is a strong plus.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
- Knowledge of product and market research.
- Familiarity with administrative duties and office equipment, including photography skills.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills including extensive knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Hard working and on time.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Cooperative and easily able to get along with others.
- Deadline and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy of SAP, websites, and other requisite tools with an eye on customer delivery and exceeding expectations.
