Full description
REVEL is an AI robotics company developing physical intelligence for general-purpose humanoid robots. We capture the force, dexterity and intent of human work with our Neural Gambit wearable, and use it to train RAI, the intelligence that powers our robots. REVEL is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with R&D and engineering facilities in Prague and Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This role is on-site with our engineering team in the Czech Republic.
Neural Gambit only works if the capture is perfectly synchronised. We're looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to bring the NG hub and capture pipeline to life, sensors, sync, and on-device compute.
Responsibilities
- Develop firmware for multi-camera and HD-sEMG synchronisation on the NG hub
- Implement sub-millisecond hardware timestamping across sensors
- Build the on-device capture and offload pipeline
- Bring up new boards and debug at the hardware level
- Work closely with the ML team on data format and integrity
Requirements
- Strong C/C++ on embedded Linux and/or microcontrollers
- Experience with cameras (MIPI/CSI), ADCs, or biosignal analog front-ends
- Comfort with scopes, logic analysers and hardware bring-up
- Solid software engineering practices
Bonus qualifications
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson or similar edge compute
- Real-time operating systems
- Prior wearable or medical-device firmware
