In this vital role, you will lead Regional Operations activities supporting product launches and lifecycle management across the US, ELMAC and JAPAC regions. You will act as the regional Operations representative for Global Product Development Teams (PDTs), Product Lifecycle Teams (PLTs), Regional Operations Team (ROTs), Launch Teams and Affiliate Supply Chain organizations, ensuring successful commercialization and lifecycle execution for existing products.

You will coordinate cross-functional activities across manufacturing sites, regional planning, regulatory, commercialization and affiliate organizations to ensure timely launches, lifecycle changes and uninterrupted product supply. Success in this role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management and the ability to influence a complex global matrix organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Regional Product Launch & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead Regional Operations activities for launches of existing products, new presentations, new strengths and other lifecycle initiatives.
  • Develop and execute regional launch and lifecycle strategies aligned with global product strategy and regulatory filing plans.
  • Generate project charters and ensure governance through appropriate project gate reviews.
  • Coordinate site readiness activities with manufacturing and packaging sites to ensure successful implementation.
  • Drive SKU creation, rationalization and regional implementation planning.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the Regional Operations representative on Global Product Development Teams (PDTs).
  • Represent Regional Operations within Product Lifecycle Teams (PLTs) and Regional Operations Teams (ROTs), ensuring regional requirements are incorporated into lifecycle planning.
  • Participate in local Launch Teams with affiliates and country organizations.
  • Build strong partnerships with Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Quality and Planning organizations.

Regional Business Partnership

  • Present launch plans, lifecycle activities and portfolio updates to regional stakeholders.
  • Support affiliate organizations in business case preparation and launch prioritization.
  • Ensure effective communication between global teams and regional stakeholders.

Project Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Lead multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously while managing timelines, risks and dependencies.
  • Identify and escalate issues that may impact successful launches or lifecycle implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify processes and improve execution.
  • Support implementation of best practices and standardization across Regional Operations.

Performance Management

  • Monitor departmental KPIs related to launches, lifecycle management and project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and execution excellence.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums.

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Product Management, Commercialization or Operations within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercialization and product lifecycle management.
  • Basic understanding of GMP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or equivalent).
  • Experience working in international and cross-cultural environments.

Professional Certifications:

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or equivalent Project Management certification.
