Job Description:

Position Summary:

You will build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations that provide actionable insights into media performance, creative effectiveness, and audience behavior. Working under the direction of senior team members, you will help gather reporting needs from data analysts, media planners, and other stakeholders, and turn those needs into clear, user-friendly dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development:

  • Build and deploy interactive dashboards and data visualizations in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, DOMO, or Datorama, working from designs and requirements set with senior team members.
  • Apply established performance standards to keep dashboards running quickly and efficiently.

Data Integration:

  • Connect dashboards to existing data sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud storage.
  • Maintain and extend existing ETL pipelines that feed dashboards, and build straightforward new ones with review from a senior team member.
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot routine data integration issues, escalating recurring or upstream problems to the team.

Maintenance & Support:

  • Provide day-to-day maintenance and support for existing dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement updates and enhancements to dashboards based on user feedback and requests prioritized by the team.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data sources, and data pipelines, following team templates and standards.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in dashboard development and data visualization.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, and ideally Python or another data manipulation language.
  • Exposure to data integration and ETL processes.
  • Some exposure to media or advertising reporting platforms (Google Analytics, CM360, etc.)

Skills:

  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understand briefed tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently on well-defined tasks.
  • Working understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Ability to manage time across multiple assigned projects.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
