Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer Intern in Aberdeen, SD for the summer of 2027.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the businesses at Agtegra by contributing to the development of BI solutions that enable data-driven decision making and process efficiency. You’ll have an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and build meaningful relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in designing, developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Gain hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes that move and transform data across systems.
- Learn about data modeling principles and how they impact reporting and analytics.
- Assist in optimizing SQL queries for performance.
- Document BI processes, data sources and report logic.
- Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, analytics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases and data warehousing.
- Basic understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- English proficiency.
- Valid Driver's License.
