OVERVIEW:
The Privacy Product Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the organization's privacy strategy by partnering across Legal, Technology, Product, and Business teams to develop and enhance privacy-focused capabilities. This individual will translate evolving global privacy regulations into actionable product requirements, manage the privacy product roadmap, and drive the delivery of key initiatives that support compliance, customer trust, and business objectives. The role is instrumental in embedding privacy by design into products and processes while enabling scalable privacy solutions such as consent management, data inventory, retention controls, and automated data subject rights management. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, product management expertise, and a passion for creating privacy-centric experiences in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Privacy Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the privacy product roadmap, aligning priorities with global regulatory requirements and business initiatives (e.g., analytics, personalization, customer engagement).
Regulatory Translation & Requirements Management
- Translate privacy legal and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CPRA, PIPEDA, AU/NZ) into product requirements, user stories, and operational specifications.
Product Delivery & Initiative Management
- Manage product backlog, prioritization, and delivery of privacy initiatives; track progress against timelines and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Privacy by Design
- Partner with legal, product, and technology teams to embed privacy-by-design into the software development lifecycle and business workflows
Privacy Technology & Capability Enablement
- Support the development and implementation of privacy tooling and capabilities (e.g., data mapping, inventory management, consent management, data subject rights automation, retention controls).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Product Management, Information Management, Public Policy, Compliance
- 1-3 years of experience
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Legal, Product, Compliance, Technology, Data)
- Experience in privacy, compliance, security, or regulated environments preferred
- Experience with consumer platforms, retail, or e-commerce a plus
- Product Management certification preferred. (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum)
- Privacy certifications a plus (e.g., CIPP, CIPT) but not required.
- Experience with product management and development tools (Jira, Aha!, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with privacy and data governance tools (e.g., consent management platforms, data discovery tools, DSAR automation).
- Understanding of APIs, data flows, and modern data architectures.
- Strong product management, prioritization, and roadmap planning skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear operational solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of privacy and data protection principles and regulations.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment with competing priorities.

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
