Salesforce Administrator
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to support the configuration, administration, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of our Salesforce platform. This role is responsible for ensuring Salesforce operates efficiently, securely, and effectively while supporting business objectives across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for leveraging Salesforce capabilities to solve business challenges. This individual will partner with stakeholders across departments, manage system enhancements, support users, and drive continuous improvements that increase adoption, streamline processes, and enhance the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce, ensuring platform stability, performance, and ongoing optimization.
- Analyze support requests and enhancement tickets, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain business process automation using Salesforce Flow, approval processes, and other declarative tools.
- Configure and manage custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, formulas, and related platform components.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Manage user setup and maintenance, including profiles, permission sets, roles, licenses, and access controls.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, governance, and data management best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Support system testing, release management, change control, and deployment activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, business processes, integrations, and technical procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to end users to maximize adoption and platform effectiveness.
- Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to support integrations, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
- Stay informed on Salesforce releases, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
- Insurance industry experience or strong insurance business acumen a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, security model, data management, and declarative development capabilities.
- Experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flow automations and business process solutions.
- Proficiency with Data Loader and other data management tools, including data imports, exports, cleansing, and migration activities.
- Knowledge of Salesforce deployment and release management tools, including Change Sets.
- Experience creating meaningful reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and manipulation.
- Skilled in creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and consistent documentation for system configurations, business processes, and technical specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage employees at all levels of the organization.
- Limited travel will be required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, as permitted by law.
Remote Work Environment: Preference given to candidates in Eastern or Central U.S. time zones
