Project – Network Engineer (Cisco CCNP)

Project – Network Engineer (Cisco CCNP) Workload: 100% Start: December 1, 2026 End: May 31, 2027, with an option to extend Location: Zurich, 3 days per week on-site, 2 days per week remote Customer Segment: IT/Telco Applications from outside Switzerland: The candidate must hold a passport from an EU or Schengen country; dual citizenship is also acceptable. (Candidates with citizenship from outside the Schengen Area who hold a work permit for Germany, Austria, etc., are not eligible.)

Tasks:

• Network Infrastructure: You are responsible for setting up and operating data center and access network infrastructures (SDN/SDA/Catalyst/Nexus/WiFi)
• Security Products: You actively contribute to Cisco security products such as WSA and ISE
• Projects: You will collaborate on exciting projects, designing, deploying, and configuring network and security solutions
• Technical Expertise: You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for specific products and share your knowledge with the team
• Automation: You will automate and standardize configurations to enhance efficiency and security
• Documentation: You will create and maintain documentation on installation, operation, migration, and backup
• Support & On-Call Duty: You will provide support during operational hours and on-call duty to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Completed IT training (Computer Scientist EFZ)
• Several years of professional experience in a networking environment
• Certifications in Cisco products at the CCNP level are required
• Experience with ACI/SDN/SDA is a plus
• Knowledge of network security
• Analytical and interdisciplinary thinking skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Communicative, team-oriented, and conflict-resolution skills
