We’re a dynamic growth and media agency headquartered in Berlin, partnering with some of Europe’s, the US’s, and Asia’s most innovative digital brands. We build scalable systems, automate processes, and unlock value through data and AI-driven solutions.

We’re looking for a Working Student – AI / Data Engineering (m/f/d) to join our team. You’ll gain hands-on experience with production data pipelines, process automation, and practical AI solutions while contributing to projects with real business impact.

This is an office-focused role based at our Berlin headquarters. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working closely with the team on-site on most working days.

You will be working in: English fluency and basic German is required.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support the ingestion, transformation, and maintenance of data pipelines.
  • Help automate and improve internal workflows and operational processes.
  • Contribute to practical AI-powered solutions, including coding agents and simple agentic workflows.
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and monitoring of new features and systems.
  • Work closely with engineering, operational, and marketing teams to turn business needs into practical solutions.
  • Monitor existing data and automation processes and help resolve issues.
  • Create clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Skills you will need to be successful:

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a related degree programme.
  • A solid foundation in Python gained through university courses, personal projects, or previous practical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
  • Basic understanding of and practical experience with data pipelines.
  • Basic familiarity with APIs and data-processing concepts.
  • Understanding of version control using Git.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing reliable, high-quality work.
  • A hands-on, curious, and eager-to-learn mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while proactively asking questions when needed.
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work primarily from our Berlin office.

Nice to have:

You don’t need to bring experience in all of these areas, but familiarity with any of them would be useful:

  • Cloud environments, particularly GCP or AWS
  • Backend development
  • NoSQL databases
  • Infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform
  • AI coding tools such as Claude Code or similar
  • JavaScript or Golang
  • Experience in marketing, particularly marketing technology or AdTech
