Job Responsibilities

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: -

  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins and Common Table Expressions (CTEs), for data extraction and transformation.
  • Proven ability to lead client engagements and present complex findings.
  • Able to work independently without the needs for close supervision and collaboratively as part of cross team efforts
  • Extremely strong organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to details
  • Ensure business logic and data quality checks are implemented and functioning correctly within ADF and Databricks pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues by conducting detailed root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely data delivery by tracking system performance and proactively addressing issues within defined SLAs.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to support operational and analytical data needs.
  • Maintain strong documentation practices to ensure continuity and clarity across the team.
  • Work closely with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and understand release processes (Dev to Ops Handover) and have experience on release management.
  • Understand data integrations with third-party platforms such as Veeva CRM and Salesforce.
  • Provide support during shift hours as per business requirements in EST time zones.
  • Communicate effectively within team and across departments to align on objectives and tasks.

Preferred Qualifications: -

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or ETL processes.
  • Must hold an Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
  • Databricks certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting in production environments.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
